Hi! I am Katie Bernard, I am a new graduate from University of New Englands ABSN program and starting my nursing journey. I found my love for nursing through various work experiences and the individual’s I met along the way that inspired me.

I originally graduated in 2019 with a degree in Human Services and Rehabilitation with a double minor in Psychology and Education from Assumption College in Worcester, MA. Working in various settings with many different populations and growing in my own development of self growth and challenge.

Throughout my time at UNE as a nursing student I have developed a strong foundation in nursing concepts including evidence-based, holistic, and client-centered care as well as maximizing my critical thinking, clinical judgment, delegation, and prioritization. I look forward to my future nursing career!
